  • CNA Training

    First, you must enroll in a state-approved Nurse Aide in Long Term Care Facilities Training Competency Evaluation Program (NATCEP) which consists of a 90-hour training course. Our certified nurse aide training in Trenton, New Jersey provides comprehensive training to help students acquire the skills and knowledge they need for the responsibilities of a nurse aide.

  • Examination

    After your successful training, you are required to pass the CNA certification examination consisting of two parts ­­– practical or skills part and written or oral part. The skills you have learned through your training will be evaluated by the program instructors. Then, you will schedule your written or oral examination.

  • Criminal Background Check

    Lastly, New Jersey also requires candidates to have criminal background checks. The processing period depends on how the candidates’ application pathway and can take as long as twelve weeks.
